SYNOPSIS: AT 3:00 AM TODAY, THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM "GORIO" (NESAT) WAS ESTIMATED BASED ON ALL AVAILABLE DATA AT 545 KM EAST NORTHEAST OF TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN OR 460 EAST OF BASCO, BATANES (19.9°N 126.3°E) WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 105 KM/H NEAR THE CENTER AND GUSTINESS OF UP TO 130 KM/H. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH NORTHWEST AT 15 KM/H. SOUTHWEST MONSOON AFFECTING LUZON AND WESTERN VISAYAS.

·         HARVEST, GATHER AND SELL  MATURED CROPS /FRUITS WHICH ARE READY FOR MARKET.

·         STORE HARVESTED CROPS IN ELEVATED AND COVERED PLACES; STAY INDOOR AND MAKE SURE THAT ENOUGH FOODS, CLEAN WATER AND OTHER COOKING MATERIALS WILL BE EASILY AVAILABLE.

FISHING ADVISORIES:

THE COASTAL WATERS OVER BATANES WILL HAVE GUSTY RAINS, WHILE THE REST OF LUZON WILL BE MODERATE TO ROUGH AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL HAVE MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY ROUGH SEAS. WITH THIS CONDITION, FISHERMEN ARE ADVISED TO  REFRAIN FROM GOING OUT INTO THE SEA.

REMINDER TO OUR FISHERFOLKS WHO ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THE STORM  AND MONSOON RAINS TO BE  MORE CAREFUL  ESPECIALLY TO THOSE USING SMALL BOATS, ALWAYS BRING EMERGENCY KIT AND BE UPDATED FOR THE LATEST WEATHER FORECAST AND FARM ADVISORIES.
