TODAY (SEPT 15), CLOUDY SKIES WITH LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINS ANDTHUNDERSTORMS WILL BE EXPERIENCED OVER THE REGIONS OF CARAGA, DAVAO, SOCCSKSARGEN AND THE PROVINCES OF LEYTE, BOHOL AND CEBU DUE TO INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE (ITCZ). MEANWHILE, METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERSDUE TO LOCALIZED THUNDERSTORMS.

INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE IS LIKELY TO AFFECT MINDANAO AND EASTERN PART OF VISAYAS BY TOMORROWUNTIL TUESDAY (SEPT 16-19) CAUSING THE SAID AREAS TO BE MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINS AND THUNDERSTORMS. METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY TO AT TIMES CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMSMOSTLY DURING AFTERNOON OR EVENING.

HUMID WEATHER CONDITION IS EXPECTED OVER MOST PARTS OF NORTHERN LUZON DUE TO RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE AREA WHICH WILL PREVAIL OVER EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON BY WEDNESDAY (SEPT 20). IMPROVED WEATHER IS LIKELY TO BE EXPERIENCED OVER THE REST OF THECOUNTRY CAUSING THE WHOLE ARCHIPELAGO TO HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY TO AT TIMES CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS ORTHUNDERSTORMS. THIS WEATHER SCENARIO IS EXPECTED TO PERSIST UNTIL FRIDAY (SEPT 22).

NO TROPICAL CYCLONE IS EXPECTED TO ENTER THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (PAR) WITHIN THE FORECASTPERIOD. HOWEVER, THIS OUTLOOK WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE WEATHER PATTERN OCCUR.
