Additional information for the Design & Build Scheme for Establishment of Planetarium in Visayas:
  • Based on the results of the field tests and laboratory tests, “the site subsurface is predominantly characterized by limestone with thin layers of silty and poorly graded sands. Groundwater was not reached during the conduct of the field tests”.
  • Based on the geotechnical evaluation, “the use of shallow foundation system (spread footings with the beams or grade beams is warranted”.
  • The above data and information are for reference only. The procuring entity does not guarantee that these data are fully correct, up to date, and applicable to the project at hand. The contractor is responsible for the accuracy and applicability of all data and information given above, that it will use in its design and build proposal and services.

This shall form an integral part of the Bid Documents.
