Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over portions of #DavaoOriental (Baganga, Caraga), #SurigaodelSur (Marihatag, Cagwait, Lingig, Bislig) and nearby areas within 1 to 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in portions of #ZamboangaCity#Basilan and #Sulu which may persist within 1 to 2 hours.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flashfloods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.

Light rains were observed over most parts of #DavaodelNorte, #ZamboangadelSur , #ZamboangaSibugay and nearby areas for the past 2 hours.

With this development, Heavy Rainfall Warning over the area is now TERMINATED.

Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced in #SamalIs., #LanaodelSur (Kapatagan) which may persist for 1 to 2 hours.

The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council concerned are still advised to MONITOR the weather condition.
