This Bid Bulletin is being issued to answer clarificatory questions submitted by the prospective bidders for the above-cited projects.

1.   For 25 units Wind Vane Anemometer/ Direction Sensor:

a.   Please advise the correct model number of Surge Protection Unit.



 

Surge Protection Unit Model No. 19120.

b.  Please confirm that only one piece 10 meter shielded cable only not two pieces 10 meter cable is included in Wind Vane Anemometer.

1 pc. 10 meter cable is included in Wind Vane Anemometer.

c.   For the Single Largest Completed Contract (SLCC) – is the Radiosonde Transmitter is acceptable for SLCC for Weather Meteorological Instruments since it’s measure Wind Speed and Direction, Pressure, Temperature, etc.

No, SLCC must be AWS-related sensors.

d.  Expired Mayor’s Permit – please confirm that proof of filing of renewal of Business Permit with the PhilGEPs Certificate is acceptable.

Yes. Participating bidders shall submit PhilGEPS Certificate of Registration and Membership under Platinum category with Annex A, as well as proof of filing or Official Receipt for renewal of expired legal documents.    

e.   Manufacturer Authorization Form (MAF) – please confirm that we can submit MAF in the letterhead of the Manufacturer and in plain paper with the watermark logo of PAGASA OR MAF in letterhead of manufacturer with the watermark logo of PAGASA in the format of PAGASA as well.

Yes. Participating bidders shall submit Manufacturer’s Authorization Form in the letterhead of the Manufacturer and in plain paper with the watermark logo of PAGASA.

2.   For 25 units Pyranometer:

a.   Please confirm the correct cable length of Pyranometer is 5 meter only not 10 meter.

The cable length is 5 meters only.

a.   Can you extend the delivery period to 120 calendar days? Due to Manufacturer tight schedule in producing the product.

The delivery period is extended from sixty (60) calendar days to ninety (90) calendar days.

4. For Pyranometer and Barometric Pressure and Temperature Humidity Sensor

a.   Can you accept the 3rd party Manufacturer Authority to Sell letter?

Yes.

5. For Barometric Pressure Sensor, Data Logger Controller and Tipping Bucket Raingauge
