THE COLD FRONT OVER THE SOUTHERN PART OF CHINA  IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SOUTH AND BRING CLOUDY SKIES AND SCATTERED RAINS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON AREA UNTIL SUNDAY  (MARCH 24). THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL  EXPERIENCE  GENERALLY FAIR WEATHER CONDITIONS APART FROM SOME ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS MOSTLY OVER THE EASTERN SECTION.

THE COLD FRONT WILL GRADUALLY DISSIPATE BY MONDAY (MARCH  25).  THE EASTERLIES WILL THEN BE THE DOMINANT  WIND  SYSTEM.  THE WHOLE  COUNTRY WILL  HAVE  GENERALLY HOT AND HUMID WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH CHANCES OF ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING.  

THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE OUTLOOK PERIOD (MARCH 26-29), HOT AND HUMID WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO PREVAIL OVER MOST PARTS OF THE COUNTRY APART FROM SOME ISOLATED AFTERNOON OR EVENING RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS AS THE  EASTERLIES  WILL  CONTINUE TO BE THE DOMINANT WIND SYSTEM.

NO TROPICAL CYCLONE IS EXPECTED. HOWEVER, THIS WEATHER OUTLOOK WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS ANY SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE WEATHER PATTERN OCCUR.

The shift of wind direction from northeasterly to easterly due to the establishment of the High Pressure Area (HPA) over the Northwestern Pacific signifies the termination of the Northeast Monsoon.
