TODAY FRIDAY UNTIL SATURDAY (OCTOBER 19-20), THE LIGHT TO MODERATE NORTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL PREVAIL OVER NORTHERN LUZON WHILE THE INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE WILL ALSO AFFECT THE VISAYAS AND MINDANAO WHICH COULD PROLONG UNTIL TUESDAY. EXPECT DURING THESE T/YO DAYS (FRIDAY & SATURDAY) THE BICOL REGION, EASTERN VISAYAS AND MINDANAO WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PARTICULARLY ALONG THE EASTERN COAST MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING. METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING.

BY SUNDAY (OCTOBER 21), THE VISAYAS AND MINDANAO WILL EXPERIENCE PARTY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY PERIODS WITH SCATTERED RAINSHSOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WHILE METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING.

BY MONDAY (OCTOBER 22), THE BICOL REGION, THE MIMAROPA, WESTERN AND CENTRAL VISAYAS, ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA, AUTONOMOUS REGION FOR MUSLIM MIDANAO, AND SOCCSKSARGEN WILL HAVE CLOUDY PERIODS WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING. WHILE THE REST OF THE COUNTRY INCLUDING METRO MANILA WILL HAVE CLEAR SKIES TO PARTLY CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. A CYCLONIC SYSTEM WHICH WAS FROM A BROAD LOW-PRESSURE AREA MAY FORM INTO A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE AND IS ESTIMATED TO BE 3,000 KILOMETERS EAST OF THE COUNTRY. THIS IS TOO FAR, BEING OUTSIDE THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY, AND HAS NO DIRECT EFFECT TO THE ARCHIPELAGO.

WEDNESDAY UNTIL FRIDAY (OCTOBER 24-25), THIS WEDNESDAY, THE TROPICAL DISTURBANCE IS ESTIMATED 2,500 KILOMETERS EAST OF VISAYAS AND IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP FURTHER WHILE AT THE NORTHWEST PACIFIC OCEAN. BY FRIDAY, IT IS ESTIMATED TO BE 2,300 KILOMETERS EAST OF CAGAYAN - ISABELA AREA. THIS IS EXPECTED TO SLOW DOWN WHILE AT THE SOUTHERN WATERS OF JAPAN ISLANDS FOR SOME PERIOD. MEANWHILE, THE EASTERLY WIND FLOW MAY PREVAIL ACROSS THE C0UNTRY•DURING THIS TIME WHILE THE INTERTROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT ONLY THE MINDANAO AND MAY LIKELY BRING ABOUT PARTLY CLOUDY TO SOMETIMES CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOME PARTS OF THE ISLAND. MEANWHILE, METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO SOMETIMES CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE EASTERN PORTION WHICH MAY OCCUR MOSTLY DURING AFTERNOON OR EVENING.
